Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shifts, plus some weekends and night shifts

All our products are made artisanal, with the French Know-How and the finest ingredients to ensure every product quality. We bring old-fashioned “corner store” charm to the café, with a small but carefully curated assortment of hard-to-find French specialty items and cooking ingredients such as French candies and artisanal chocolate, spices, mustards, salts, French sugar cubes, local Honey and Alain Milliat jams.As Production Manager, you will work directly (but not exclusively) with the Owner & CEO, the COO, the Retail Director and the Production Management team to help the company reach its objectives.The ideal candidate should possess savvy business skills and technical abilities, and be a highly motivated professional with proven ability to establish excellent working relationships with various team members.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the COO.
  • Management of production supervisors and managers, including Head Baker.
  • Management of delivery drivers.
  • Collaborates with Retail Director and Wholesale Director.
  • Responsible for production scheduling, analysis, and future production forecasts.
  • Oversees production processes (including Health and Safety Protocols).
  • Confirms customer orders (from internal tools & online) are included in production, and they communicate with customers accordingly (company stores and wholesale customers).
  • Responsible for operational optimization of production processes and SOPs.
  • Ensures supplies and materials are available when needed (inventory management, purchasing, ordering, receiving deliveries, etc.) and negotiates prices with suppliers.
  • Ensures the maintenance of our facilities (production facility and stores) and their equipments & systems.
  • Is responsible for upholding Servsafe & OSHA guidelines, and their updates.
  • Designs delivery routes.
  • Maintenance and day-to-day management of PR/ERP.

Responsible for intranet and website updates of new products

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2+ years of production experience
Strong organizational and managerial skills
The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal, organizational written, and oral communication skills, problem-solving skills, teamwork abilities, and the ability to multitask.
