Branch Manager
As Branch Manager at Synergy Equipment, you'll be the leader of a major business enterprise. You'll have the opportunity to hire and motivate an amazing team in various roles, from sales and service to maintenance and drivers. You'll ensure enthusiastic and informed customer service. This position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who can work effectively with a variety of people and possess a strong technical aptitude and understanding of construction equipment and rental industry. Must be able to assimilate a broad range of information, schedule priority work effectively, and work successfully with both internal and external customers.
Expectations:
1. Ensures employees work in a safe and secure environment. Ensures compliance to policy and procedure.
2. Market full line of new, used, and rental products as well as related services within an assigned territory, achieving sales volume, profit and market share objectives.
3. Successfully manage the branches assigned territory by developing business opportunities with existing and development of new accounts through effective planning and strong participation with the sales team.
4. Embrace technology to ensure most efficient and effective territory management.
5. Research and stay in tune with local market conditions and developments.
6. Ensure a world-class customer experience by conducting business with integrity and working as a strong team player.
7. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
8. Recognizes and celebrates employee achievements and milestones. Addresses employee performance issues using performance management. Develops talent.
9. Strong Work Ethic, Highly Energetic.
Requirements:
1. Four-year degree preferred; or three to five years minimum related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. OSHA knowledge preferred.
2. Previous sales experience in equipment industry preferred, however industry related skill sets, knowledge or experience will be considered.
3. Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills.
4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
5. Strong Ability to Motivate and Influence others.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and using the internet.
7. Valid Driver’s License required: occasional overnight travel required.
