SUMMARY
BSE Global (“BSE”) is seeking a Web Coordinator to join its digital team. The incumbent will manage the day-to-day aspects of the website for the BSE Global properties - specifically, new section development, content updates (special features, event updates, photo galleries, press releases), multimedia encoding/management and graphic design.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with an unparalleled work ethic and desire to be the best. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Manage the day-to-day aspects of all web/digital BSE Global properties
- Integrate content, design, and navigation of new website production into standardized HTML, CSS, and various front-end frameworks
- Responsible for formulating effective, web designs which demonstrate an understanding of element arrangements on the screen, color choices and font selection which adhere to web-accessibility and brand standards
- Build simplified WordPress pages
- Understand the full development lifecycle testing, and basic deployment
- Use various Content Management Systems to maintain and update website content
- Review and respond to operational issues, escalating as necessary
- Collaborate with the Content team, Brand, and other channels to maximize experience while optimizing for user engagement and conversion
WHO YOU ARE
- 1-2+ years experience optimizing and managing websites
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, front-end frameworks and content management systems
- Strong understanding of responsive design
- Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Comfortable delivering high quality work with quick turnarounds
- A team player who is also able to work independently
- Keen level of focus, attention to detail, and organization
CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
WORKING CONDITIONS
Travel Requirements:
- Infrequent Traveler (<5% travel): The incumbent may be required to travel on a very limited basis. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- This position requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Salary Range
$50,000 - $60,000
Work Environment:
The incumbent primarily works in an office environment, however, there may be occasions when the incumbent is required to work game nights/weekends/holidays.
