Bucket List Summer TASC Force Specialist
TASC’s Bucket List Summer (BLS) TASC Force Specialist (TSF) is a seasonal position that reports to the Director of Youth Support Services (DYSS) and works closely with the Thrive Youth Engagement Specialist (TYES).

This position will work across NWA, specifically in our Rogers and Springdale locations.
This is a full-time position (32/hrs a week), seasonal, temporary, 12 weeks, Monday-Friday (May 22, 2023-August 18, 2023).

Responsibilities include:

❏ Participate in BLS staff training and meetings.
❏ Available to work the entire BLS summer season with little interruption.
❏ Follow all TASC & BLS rules and regulations.
❏ Guide individual campers and groups in participating in all camp activities.
❏ Supervise all aspects of the teens' day.
❏ Assist in teaching or leading activities as assigned.
❏ Maintain good public relations with parents and families.
❏ Set a good example for campers and others, including cleanliness, punctuality, sharing clean-up, and sportsmanship.
❏ Other duties may be assigned as required.
❏ Applicants must be available to attend pre-camp TASC Force sessions and work the entire 12-week camp season (May 22, 2023-August 18, 2023).

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College students or at least 18 years of age are required.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred. Desire and ability to work with teens.
• Must pass reference and background checks, including fingerprint and sex offender registry checks.
• Must be comfortable driving required.
• Able to participate in physical activities, including water-based activities.
• Able to maintain attention and high energy or excitement for extended periods.
• Ability to relate to one’s peer group.
• Ability to accept supervision and guidance.
• Ability to assist in teaching activities.
• Good character, integrity, and adaptability.
• Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (provided during pre-camp TASC Force Training).
• Must be able to spend time outdoors and tolerate various weather conditions.
• Not eligible for benefits.

The Teen Action and Support Center is a 501c3 nonprofit organization which offers low-to-no-cost support services to teens and their families. Services include counseling & support groups, mentoring, volunteer service opportunities, innovative programming, and physical resources for teens in need.
