Primary Purpose of Position
The Business Services Coordinator is part of the OneIT Business Team team, providing day-to-day financial and personnel support for the division. This includes purchasing, budget reconciliation, and records administration, as well as assisting with research, analyses, and projects.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Four year degree in a related business function and one year of experience in accounts reconciliation, business processing, office management, or human resources; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Essential Job Duties
- Sustains an up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures related to funding, compliance, purchasing, p-cards, personnel, travel, etc.
- Uses a high level of attention to detail to maintain departmental files and prepare reports.
- Monitors budgets, identifies issues, and researches information to clarify, resolve problems, or manage change.
- Uses a mix of skills, creativity, initiative, and sound judgment to propose solutions and/or recommend positive procedural actions or changes.
- Divisional resource for travel.
- Process forms, assigns appropriate funding to transactions, reconciles expenses, and researches/resolves post-audit issues.
- In-depth knowledge of policies and procedures for the day-to-day financial management of diverse OneIT funding sources, comprised of state, E&T, auxiliary, and trust funds.
- Purchasing specialist, proficient in all aspects of 49er Mart.
- Routinely communicates with all functional areas of OneIT by delivering clear, accurate, and timely information.
- Provides guidance supported by links/excerpts from relevant policies and procedures.
- Resolves customer and vendor questions/discrepancies and coordination with OneIT management, vendors, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable are essential in this role.
Other Work Responsibilities
- This position serves as a backup to other Business Team staff, on budget, administrative, and/or personnel tasks.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g. functions, pivot tables).
- Experience in a business office or experience with accounting/budgeting.
- Higher Education experience.
