Camaco Portage Manufacturing
We are an assembly-only manufacturing plant specializing in the production of automotive seat structures. We are looking for entry-level candidates for our Production team.

Current Operating Schedule

• CAMACO's normal operating schedule is Monday - Thursday from 4:30 - 2:30; however, currently we are running 11.5 hours and select Fridays due to customer demand. (Weekends are possible but very rare in occurrence).
• We run two shifts - 1st shift currently runs 4:30AM-4PM & 2nd Shift runs 4:30PM-4AM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The work requires regular standing, walking, bending, lifting and a variety of physical activities.
• Performs various assembly operations and/or packing duties to achieve production requirements.
• Perform various visual and/or manual activities to inspect or verify the accuracy of a part.
• Record production counts, print labels and place on containers.
• Perform basic housekeeping to keep area clean and safe.
• Various other duties as assigned.

• Ability to follow established procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Manual dexterity sufficient to assembly, pack, and/or grip and operate hand tools
• Communication skills to communicate and interact with all levels of employees
• Ability to work effectively with people
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time (up to 11.5 hrs.)
• Ability to lift 25lbs.
