Kinkaid Civil Construction (KCC) is a growing company that is currently hiring for a CDL Driver.

KCC is a growing civil construction company that functions as both General Contractor (GC) and Subcontractor. KCC specializes in and self-performs site utility installation, earthwork and concrete. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions listed below:

• Drives tank truck to transport water for construction projects to provide water for underground utility installation and to control dust per government requirements
• Operates water truck in a safe and appropriate manner, ensuring proper machine start-up, operation and shut down
• Operates pumps and spray water in trenches and other excavations ensuring soil moisture content is per standard
• Performs DOT daily inspection, maintenance and safety checks of equipment to include inspection of tires, lights, brakes, fuses and fluid levels, and general operating condition
• Maintains truck log per state and federal regulations and company safety policies
• Ensures dust levels on jobsites meet or exceed government requirements

Qualifications/Skills Required

• Minimum 1-3 year’s prior experience operating water truck, or similar, in a heavy civil construction environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience required to meet the job requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge of the safe operation of water tank trucks and DOT requirements
• Strong knowledge of soil moisture conditions relevant to underground utility installation
• Experience with regulatory dust control compliance
• Knowledge of street and highway traffic rules and regulations, and safety precautions to be observed in working on or near highways and busy urban areas.
• Minimum Current Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker and air brake endorsements
• Maricopa County Rule 310 Basic Certification
• Must have insurable driver record and able to pass random drug tests per company policy
