CES seeks qualified individuals for full-time Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Program Instructors.

40hr/Week 8am to 5pm, M-F

Job Requirements:

-Active class A commercial driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.

-DOT medical card.

-High school diploma or equivalent in education.

-Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and Federal background check and participate in a random drug screening program as required by FMCSA.

-Displays strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.

-Ability to coach, teach, train, and mentor.

-Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments for training purposes.

-Displays and demonstrates an "All In to Win" attitude and performance, including self-motivation and a strong desire to learn within an unpredictable and demanding environment

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Providing classroom, behind-the-wheel range, and behind-the-wheel road instruction as required.

-Conduct each class according to the approved syllabus.

-Utilize the approved textbook and/or other instructional materials as approved.

-Be fully prepared and on time..

-Support students by engaging them in class, answering questions promptly, and referring them for additional support when necessary.

-Be familiar with and abide by CES policies.

-Treat students and colleagues with respect and understanding of differences.

-Maintain logbook, adhere to truck diving policies and procedures, and stay abreast of DOT regulations and changes.
