Who Are We Looking For?
Eastridge Academy is looking for a cook who will prepare healthy and tasty meals and snacks for the children in our centers! Your work will ensure our children have the fuel they need to learn and grow.
What
You’ll
Do:
- Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically
- Help with and take on responsibility in other daily center duties, as needed
- Familiarity with proper conditions and food storage, the ability to understand the needs of children with food allergies, and to implement methods of food cross-contamination avoidance.
- Basic math skills required for measuring and calculating serving portions
What
You’ll
Need:
- To be at least 18 Years of age
- To have your High school Diploma - any ECE credits a plus!
- To be capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children
- To complete the following trainings/ requirements:
- Food Manager Certificate
- CPR and First Aid
- 24 hours of training
- Background Check
- Annual TB Test and Physical
