Civil Superintendent-Solar-6 Figure Income Job at SST Direct
Seeking Civil Superintendents for a direct hire opportunity with a top tier Self-performing GC in the Southeast, USA (FL, GA, NC, SC)
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k!
Pay for Superintendents: $115-120k annually, based on experience plus yearly bonus
Relocation assistance, per diem, travel etc available
- Must have solar utility and heavy equipment operation experience
Job Responsibilities for Civil Superintendent:
- Superintendents supervise crews and subcontractors on solar projects or roads, culverts, retention ponds, substation pads projects.
- Must be able to run equipment-backhoe, excavator etc
- Maintaining accurate records of construction activities, including progress reports, safety records
Qualifications for Civil Superintendent & Project Manager:
- 3 plus years’ experience as a Superintendent overseeing/managing solar or road/ culvert projects.
- Heavy equipment and OSHA certification a plus
- Knowledge of SWPP (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan) a plus
- Ability to read plan/blueprints/drawings.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Physical Requirements for Solar Superintendent & Project Manager:
- This position is highly physical and may require regular walking, stooping, and kneeling.
- It may require employees to lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
- This position requires working in diverse conditions including, but not limited to heat and/cold or exposure to noisy operating equipment,
