Client Care Associate (Seasonal / Part-Time)

This is a part time, 15 to 20 hour per week, seasonal position in our South Dennis location with weekend hours, and a combination of days and swing shifts.
The CCA should consistently contribute to a spirit of pride and excitement in that each employee is part of a team practicing excellent medicine with a high standard of patient, client, and referring veterinarian care.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners in a polite and timely manner, both in person and over multi-line phone system
- Schedule appointments, record keeping and organization, provide estimates and invoices for payment
- Respond with compassion and empathy in stressful and emotional situations
- Maintain a clean and orderly lobby and front office area
- Willingness to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members
- Constantly advance your knowledgebase and customer service skills
- Opportunities to learn Veterinary Assistant skills if desired
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years' experience in the veterinary hospital is preferred (technician, liaison, customer service) but position is open to the right person who gets it, wants, and is eager to learn
- Professional, pleasant, engaged, clear communicator who is attentive and respectful to referring veterinarians, clients, and co-workers.
- Must be able to balance multiple tasks, be confident, and prioritize tasks appropriately.
- Computer experience (Word, Excel) and operation of office equipment such as, fax machine, copy machine, credit card and check terminal, and postage meter.
- Related veterinary software (DVMax) and Care Credit knowledge preferred.
- Must possess basic math skills to determine proper deposits and process payments
- Willingness to learn veterinary technical skills a plus

Salary range: $18 - $20 / hour

Applicants being considered for hire must pass a drug test before beginning work after receiving an offer of employment. This ten panel drug test does not include testing for THC (Marijuana). Applicants will be required to complete online paperwork authorizing the drug test and will be directed to choose a Quest Diagnostics facility convenient to them. Upon receipt of the results, a hiring decision will be made. A positive finding without an acceptable explanation may result in withdrawal of the offer of employment. Refusal to submit to testing will result in disqualification of further employment consideration.
