Job Objectives:
- Provide required analytical support & insights to the global Commercial teams
- Ensure timely and consistent high quality competitive proposals for contracts to address customer requirements, by meeting profitability guidelines with a manageable risk exposure
- Drive solution selling activities internally by ensuring that Satair's service offering are meeting customer needs
- Support & enable the Commercial team to take data-driven decisions in order to improve competitiveness and customer satisfaction
- Contribute to become the Centre of Excellence for all required commercial analytical requirements and drive further development & automation of the same
Primary Responsibilities:
- Generate proposals to customers by understanding customers' key requirements and criteria in bid process
- Understand and quantify the commercial consequences of meeting customer requirements (e.g., multi-year pricing, volume discounts and customized logistics)
- Develop business cases, and present scenarios to the Approval Committee, recommend preferred scenario and determine negotiation strategy (incl. bands)
- Use business data and statistical methods to provide insight into business performance and suggest area and methods of improvements
- Support the development and production of standardized reports / dashboards and presentations
- Support all required commercial analytical requirements and drive further development & automation of the same (i.e. centre of excellence)
- Collect customer intelligence, market dynamics and competitive landscape in order to segment customers and identify most attractive / target customers
- Conduct win-loss analysis to continuously sharpen Satair's value proposition in the market
- Contribute to an efficient and customer-focused Commercial Analytics Team
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Maintain dialogue with other functions including Commercial & Support, PM and Operations teams to understand developments and trends in the market
- Work closely with other Satair functions and Airbus functions to ensure input and strong support for the Commercial activities
- Support the formation of a data-driven organization in the Satair Commercial team

Personal & Interpersonal Skills-
- Strong analytical skills; ability to see the bigger picture and derive mid to long term recommendations on way forward
- Good business acumen & customer-minded
- Must work effectively with others in a team environment as well as work independently with little supervision, depending on the task at hand
- High level of communication skills and effective interpersonal skills appropriate for interacting with customers and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports
- High level of energy and persistence and "can do" attitude
Experience:
- University degree in Business / Finance / Engineering preferred
- Minimum 5 years' working experience in a Business Analyst role or similar
- Knowledge of VBA, Python and other programming language / coding preferred
- Ability to operate, extract and analyze data from business tools, such as but not limited to CRM and Business Intelligence software (or ability to learn and utilize it quickly)
- Strong numeracy skills
KPI:
- Annual incremental contract business awarded (revenue and GM)
- Quality of data analysis and reports provided
- Timely submission of deliverables
