SWABACK Architects + Planners seeks an experienced Community Planner/Landscape Architect committed to design excellence, who thrives in an environment of collaboration and demonstrates a high degree of creativity. We are interested in hearing from driven individuals with 3-7 years of experience and with proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite.

This role entails:

· Performing landscape architectural and planning assignments under general supervision

· Coordinating the preparation of design presentations

· Coordinating with consultants on a wide variety of design related issues

· Relating design concepts to zoning ordinances and other external entities

· Managing all aspects of project development

Candidates shall meet the following requirements:

· Possess, at a minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture and/or Planning from an accredited university

· 7-10 years of experience

· Working knowledge of issues related to planning, urban design, and landscape architecture

· Has the ability to understand and communicate with professionals of other disciplines

· Contributes proactively to the project team

· Is proficient with technical detailing

· Is proficient in current design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Sketchup. (A plus: Revit, Rhino, Civil 3D, Land FX, and other 3D modeling / rendering platforms)

· Preferred experience: Hand graphics, graphic design, and site grading experience
