Pay for Composite Technician
Pay Range: $20.00 per hour.

Location for Composite Technician:
100% Travel

Work environment for Composite Technician:
Our Composite Technicians use personal protection equipment to climb Wind Turbines, Performing Lock out Tag out on wind turbines, perform internal/External inspections with Non-Destructing Test inspections. Also grinding layer of fiber glass and laminating fiber glass. Documenting work images and uploading images to engineering. Sanding and painting.

Required experience for Composite Technician:

• Capable of climbing 300 feet and working at heights.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English) is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Bank account with a major bank
• Willing to travel for up to 10 weeks.
• Lift and move equipment as needed (50 pounds and greater)
• Strong work ethic
• Read and write in English.
• Follow instructions.
• Has knowledge of various hand and power tools.
• Work in an indoor or outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions with blowing pollen, dust, and grasses.
• For safety compliance, wind technicians must weigh between 120 and 280 pounds, including clothing and boots.
• Non-US Citizen must hold current work visa or green card.

Preferred experiences for Composite Technician:

• LOTO experience
• OSHA Certificate
• Climbing ladders
• Grinding, sanding, or laminating experience.
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Cabinetry, Wood working, Dry wall, Painters, Roofers, Auto body, Wind field tech, Boat repair shops, Composite factories, Cellular towers, High rise Window washers.
• Follow specific verbal and written instructions to perform wind turbine generator (WTG) and associated equipment assembly, repair, and maintenance.
• Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
