Major/Essential Functions
Plan, coordinate, and implement outreach initiatives and events to engage the public and promote awareness of the organization’s mission and services.
Develop and manage relationships with local businesses, organizations, community groups, and government entities to increase the organization’s visibility and to coordinate joint projects and events
Identify opportunities for and coordinate events, presentations, and other activities to promote the organization and its programs
Manage and coordinate the promotion of the organization’s events and activities
Develop, manage, and maintain an up-to-date database of contacts and resources in the community
Prepare and submit progress reports to the organization’s leadership
Develop and manage the organization’s social media presence, quarterly newsletter and website.
Work with the organization’s leadership to identify, target, and cultivate potential donors
Represent the organization at community events and meetings
Participate in required staff meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
Occasional Duties
Assist Lubbock RSVP program with organizing events and promoting the program
Assist Project FRONTIER study in recruitment, data entry and follow-up calls
Required Qualifications
High school graduation plus five (5) years progressively responsible related experience; additional related education may exchange for required experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with community outreach
Understanding or experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, and other aging related diseases

Pay Statement
