Status: Full Time, 40hour week

Summary:
Manages the workflow and employees for areas assigned efficiently while maintaining a positive and pleasant working environment. Coordinates the daily operations relative to patient care and managing physicians’ schedules. Maintains positive employee morale, oversees computerized patient management system functions and generally ensures any and all office matters are handled effectively, professionally, and in an expeditious manner. Keeps Practice Manager informed of appropriate activities in the practice.
Formal Education Required:

Formal Education Required:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Associate’s degree preferred
- Three (3) years of previous medical office experience (i.e., Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist; Referral Coordinator); Physician office setting preferred
- Experience with computerized patient management system.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Organizational skills
- Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
- Light: Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to ten pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously.
