Position Summary

The Office of Donor Relations fosters positive and enduring relationships with donors built on trust and accountability through activities that acknowledge, recognize, and report on gifts, and engage donors in the life of the university. The Coordinator of Stewardship will report to the Director of Gift Administration and Stewardship. The primary responsibility of the position will be to support both financial and impact reporting efforts. The position will also track and route gift agreements and conduct research on and analysis of endowed funds that will be used for reporting.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support creation of endowment reports for donors through retrieving, assembling and organizing data, arranging information into appropriate files and folders, ensuring accuracy of data and folders, and uploading finished pieces to databases.
  • Coordinate obtaining signatures on gift agreements and routing final approved agreements to all internal stakeholders.
  • Retrieve and gather data from a variety of internal databases for stewardship reports including data on donors, gift terms, gift use, and impact.
    • Help with module entry, stewardship maintenance;
    • Support stewardship of funds tracking, monitoring, organizing, uploading, entering, managing data on fund uses;
    • Assisting in tracking stewardship of gift and managing data input into internal databases.
  • Assist in stewardship of gifts through entering and tracking data in internal databases and coordinating gift management processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong knowledge and skill with a variety of software programs (including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce).
  • Experience creating and managing databases.
  • Understanding of institutional development, donor relations, and stewardship.
  • Experience in the production of development materials and publications.
  • Highly motivated individual with intellectual curiosity.
  • Quick-learner with a "can do" customer-service attitude and is an adaptable team player.
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills with precise attention to detail.
  • Exceptional data set creation, clean up and management skills.
  • Able to multi-task effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize complex information.
  • Willingness to take initiative with projects.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent high school certification plus three years of work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range

$20.15 - $31.26 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
