We’re looking for a licensed cosmetologist with a passion for the industry & education to join our team as an apprentice trainer in our Wisconsin salons. This is a full time position, 40 hours per week (25 hours a week training new apprentices & 15 hours per week filling needs on the cutting floor in our Wisconsin locations.) We have four Wisconsin salons located in Hudson, River Falls, New Richmond, & Menomonie. The apprentice trainer must be willing to travel to any of these locations, however the primary training location will be in River Falls, WI.

- Develop employees/students to reach full potential by teaching, coaching, & reinforcing expectations and behaviors.
- Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate salon & state board expectations for apprenticeship
- Ability to adapt & communicate to different learning styles
- Is able to lead by example in salon & on the salon cutting floor
- Ability to provide a positive learning environment & development focused culture in the salon
- Can demonstrate patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Able to effectively manage time & document progress for training & state board requirements
- Reliable & dependable
- Self-starter
- At least 5 years of in-salon experience
- Past Great Clips experience is a plus
- Knowledge of the Great Clips cutting system & 5-steps to customer care
- Must have WI Cosmetology License
- Must be willing to commute to all 4 of our WI locations (Hudson, River Falls, New Richmond, and Menomonie)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
