Do you enjoy working in customer service!? We have an exciting new opportunity for a Customer Account Manager! The ideal candidate will have familiarity with production scheduling, shipping procedures, and good data entry skills.
- Pay: $20-$26/hr
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
- Type: Temp to Hire
- Location: Fridley, MN
Job Description:
- Act as primary customer contact for assigned key accounts regarding all issues, including selling, scheduling deliveries, handling complaints, etc.
- Use an established data entry system to process customer orders, including receiving and entering purchase order data, reserving raw materials from inventory and invoicing customers.
- Work with engineers and management for bids and send to customer for approval.
- Work with customers using their MRP/planning systems, forecast reports or purchase orders to establish run quantities and shipment dates on orders, and make ship date adjustments if necessary.
- Coordinate with internal production departments in order to schedule and plan jobs.
- Use computer system to document all production jobs.
- Proactively assists customers and solicits sales using suggestive selling by tracking customer purchasing patterns and following up on their potential needs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent data entry skills
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Strong computer and customer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
