The Receptionist, located in the RiNo district in Denver, CO, is the industry-leading, cloud-based Visitor Management Solution (VMS) that automates visitor check-in and helps reduce the chaos of the modern front office. We are currently seeking a Customer Education Specialist to join our growing team. The Customer Education Specialist will teach our customers in a one-on-one capacity and educate the broader customer base at scale to successfully use our application in ways that make a difference in their business. You’ll spend approximately 25% of your time building relationships with, listening to, and educating our highest value customers in 1:1 virtual sessions, as well as answering their product, strategic, and other questions. Using the understanding you gain from that engagement, as well as your expertise in our application, writing, creating, and educating, you’ll collaborate closely with our Customer Experience, Marketing, and Sales teams to develop resources like webinars, videos, Help Center articles, podcasts, etc. that will help our entire customer base to be even more successful with our product.


What you'll be doing:

  • Helping our entire customer base to successfully use our product (with the end goal of driving the highest possible product usage) by planning, creating and sharing educational content via webinars, Podcasts, help center articles, videos, and other channels.

  • Identifying the best ways to disseminate information to customers based on content and product usage data that you track and measurably improve.

  • Helping to ensure that the resources our customers access e.g., the knowledge base, learning platforms, and content channels such as YouTube are fully up to date and accurate.

  • Creating content to disseminate new product features to clients.

  • Building strong relationships with each of our highest value customers in quarterly 1:1 educational meetings, and providing ongoing education via calls, emails, etc. serving as their main point of content for product, strategic, etc. questions.

  • Asking happy customers to add to our ever-growing positive online reviews and communicating any expansion opportunities and/or learnings about customers organizations to the Sales Team

  • Proactively evolving the role, maintaining expert product knowledge, and monitoring industry trends to help shape our education strategy.

  • Laughing daily

  • 2+ years of experience creating customer education materials

  • 1+ years of experience directly supporting Enterprise customers

  • Proficiency with Zapier, Intercom, Salesforce, Smart Suite (or other project management software), and YouTube

  • A customer-obsessed attitude

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Some college or relevant coursework preferred but not required

  • Experience in a B2B SaaS startup preferred but not required

Compensation:

Total compensation includes a salary of $55,000 - $60,000 annually. Additional paid benefits include a $2,000 per year vacation travel stipend, a $2,400 per year mental health stipend, a $1,500 per year professional development fund, plus many more listed here!
