Job Description

Position Title: Customer Service Representative

POSITION PURPOSE:

To provide excellent customer service support to our customers in the development and quotation of orders and inquiries for our custom connectors, cable assemblies, and other company products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client requests, via phone, email and LiveChat (website chat)
  • Process quotes for Key Account customers.
  • Prints daily pick lists for Key Account shipments.
  • Provides overall service to Key Account customers through the telephone, mail and fax system.
  • Provides Key Account customers with status inquiries, order processing additions and/or changes and general inquiries regarding current or past purchase orders.
  • Re-schedules and follows up on open orders.
  • Setup files for new Purchase Orders.
  • Enter data for new orders for all Key Account orders.
  • Receives, prepares and completes purchase orders as needed.
  • Reviews Supplier Schedules Reports and issue releases based on Key Accounts demands.
  • Enters forecasting information into SyteLine for proper requirements.
  • Filing of open orders, closed orders and necessary additional documentation into customer files.
  • Reviews documents and factory acknowledgements for proper follow up on specific orders.
  • Becomes proficient in assisting all Key Accounts in company history and parts ordered.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

  • 5+ years professional experience in a fast-paced and highly motivated customer service role
  • Experience working with SAP or a similar system
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience required
  • Ability to function under high pressure, self-starter and willingness to learn with a ‘can do' professional attitude
  • Direct Sales/Service experience desired
  • Bilingual helpful, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
