The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers (League) was founded in 1972 as one of the country's first state Primary Care Associations (PCAs). Established under the same federal authorizing legislation as the health center program (Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act), PCAs are organized around a set of core functions and competencies that provide a framework for support and assistance to health centers and the communities they serve. The League is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization registered as a public charity with the Commonwealth's Secretary of State. It maintains a professional staff at its headquarters in Boston and its training center in Worcester.
Position Summary:
The Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) and other funders have contracted with the League to administer multiple student loan repayment programs for clinicians and staff providing primary care and behavioral health care in a variety of institutions across the state.
Essential Functions: (The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without advance notice. Management may assign new duties, reassign existing duties, or eliminate a role. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following.)
- Provide data analysis and reporting for the Workforce team members, including analyzing information on a student loan repayment program to determine information and trends on student debt, demographic information of applicants and key metrics for that program
- Produce and maintain day-to-day reporting and ad-hoc analysis
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in datasets and report on opportunities for improvement
- Use communication and presentation software to facilitate webinars, presentations, distribution lists, report production and information sharing
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in policy, public affairs, membership services, clinical affairs and leadership to provide data coordination services
- Work with community health center members to provide additional data analysis assistance as requested
Competencies/Skills:
- Experience with visual analytics and business intelligence tools Tableau/Power BI/Alteryx preferred
- Strong knowledge of SAS and SQL systems preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Demonstrated interest in data, quality improvement and technology a plus.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to other sites and meetings as needed
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of Bachelors' degree in data science, healthcare informatics, business or relevant field.
- One to three years' experience in health systems, services, care settings or customer service areas.
- Experience with community service, volunteer activities, social services and program development, community health centers, public health programs, and community-based organizations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk and hear regularly. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time. The employee needs to move inside and outside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, meet with community partners at different sites. The position requires occasionally lifting office products and supplies up to 50 pounds and traveling to various locations for meetings.
