Delivery Driver Job at Heritage Landscape Supply Group
Irrigation Station, a Heritage Landscape partner company is actively seeking a self-motivated individual to deliver products. This full-time Driver will be responsible for delivering products to customer sites, branches, and vendors. In addition, some warehouse duties will be in a warehouse setting. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season.
DUTIES
- Transporting products to and from customers, branches, and vendors.
- An eye for safety including vehicle inspections, load securement, and general rules of the road.
- Loading, unloading, and staging orders in the warehouse, yard, and job site environments.
- Understanding and adherence to the regulations detailed in the FMCSA.
- Operating forklifts in outdoor environments
- Focusing on safe work practices, such as wearing PPE, proper lifting techniques etc., while performing daily duties and using company equipment.
- Other related duties as assigned, such as stocking, pulling, and staging yard products, shipping/receiving, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge, including keyboard (typing), mouse, and Internet use
- Acceptable driving record
- Forklift experience helpful
- Ability to lift 75 lbs; 50 lbs on a repetitive basis
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and DOT Physical
