We are looking for reliable, dependable, and caring caregivers for our one’s, two’s and three-year-old classrooms. You will collaborate with our lead staff to prepare children for school both academically and socially by using age-appropriate lesson plans, selecting effective developmental materials for the classroom, and utilizing positive behavior reinforcement. We keep our teacher-to-student ratio small to enable you to provide individualized care for every child in our program. You must also provide parents with regular reports on their child's progress.
Assistant Teacher Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing curriculum
- Support creativity and learning
- Provide supervision during activities
- Select age-appropriate developmental materials for the classroom
- Keep classroom neat and organized
- Provide parents with progress reports
- File incident reports as needed
- Assist in diapering responsibilities as needed
Assistant Teacher Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Complete annual training
- Be able flexible to work any shift (6:30am - 6pm)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
