About Jazzy Ladies Cafe & Club

We opened our doors in 2015, but Jazzy Ladies Cafe & Coffeehouse is the culmination of a 20–year dream to bring scratch–made, homestyle dining to the people of Eugene. This is what local should taste like: Good food made with love and served by your friends and neighbors. Dishwasher & Busser

The dishwasher/busser’s main objective is to ensure cleanliness of dishes & the dish pit. They will also ensure that tables are clean and reset. The dishwasher/busser will accomplish this by setting up and breaking down the pit, keeping it orderly throughout the day, and ensure a high standard of dish and table cleanliness, This position requires a commitment to excellence and communication.

Responsibilities:

• Clear tables of dishware after meals, and return to the dish pit
• Maintain appropriate stock levels off dishware
• Clean, sanitize, and reset tables
• Arrive at work ready to work by time of shift start
• Washes all wares including pots, plans, dishware, and glass
• Correctly stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils
• Ensures work areas remain safe and clean according to regulation regarding health, safety, and sanitation
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience:

• Strong organizational skill
• Time management and communication skills
• Ability to lift 80 pounds
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
• Food handler’s card
• Reliable transportation
• Current driver’s license & clean driving record
• ServSafe certification strongly encouraged

Pay: $14 / hour
