Magnolia Plumbing, Inc. is looking for EXPERIENCED CDL-B Truck Operator for our Hyattsville, MD location. A qualified candidate will be able to utilize the tools and equipment to perform general diagnostic, maintenance and repair to waste systems including, but not limited to grease interceptors, storm water management facilities, oil/ sand interceptors, elevator shaft pits, ejector systems, septic tanks and sewer lines.

Qualifications:

• GED or high school diploma
• Able to drive manual/stick shift trucks
• CDL Class B license with towing trailer experience, Tanker s endorsement or CDL Class A license with tanker s endorsement
• DOT Medical Card
• Equipment hauling experience
• Loading and Unloading excavation equipment
• Ability to obtain Confined Space Safety Certification

Requirements

• Knowledge of Federal Department of Transportation Regulations and any other governing jurisdiction or disposal facility that affects our work.

• Working knowledge and understanding of waste systems including but not limited to waste and vent design, grease interceptors, stormwater management facilities, oil/sand interceptors, elevator shaft pits, ejector systems, septic tanks, and sewer lines.

• Working knowledge and understanding of waste systems including but not limited to grease interceptors, storm water management facilities, oil/sand interceptors, elevator shaft pits, ejector systems, septic tanks, and sewer lines.
• Ability to drive, lift and operate heavy tools and equipment
• Knowledge of general mathematics and language abilities
• Ability to supervise and direct an apprentice or another vacuum truck operator
• Reliable transportation
• Mobile phone used to communicate with operations managers
• Ability to work a flexible schedule

Required experience:

• Driving Vacuum Trucks: 1 year
• Air brake Endorsement
• Tankers Endorsement (preferred or obtained within the first 6 months of employment)

Required license or certification:

• CDL W/ Tanker
