Marketing Manager, North America E-commerce

Location: Location free USA. Travel requirements 10-20% of time depending on location.

Level 7 - Manager

Responsibilities: Lead Marketing efforts with Amazon (80% of the focus) as well as other omnichannel & e-commerce initiatives across the sector. Lead strategic thinking around Duracell’s e-commerce strategy, implement with excellence with a focus on driving brand presence and closure, and ensuring Duracell wins at the ecommerce shelf. A balance of forward thinking vision and real execution every day.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding & proficiency in how to win with Amazon
    • Partner with the Amazon team to improve Duracell’s presence and closure in US and Canada
    • Technical Marketing/Advertising strength
    • Deeply in touch with the future tech trends and the implications for Duracell
      • Expertise in the evolving Omni-channel landscape
        • While Amazon is the priority, an understanding of Omni-channel/e-commerce dynamics across key Brick & Mortar retailers is critical
        • Implement elements such as Ratings and Reviews, best practices such as key search terms, and deploying communication toolkits approximately 3x per year.
        • Strong analytical skills to understand, measure and improve ROI of the marketing investments.
        • Some agency selection & management, demonstrating constant improvements in ROI through learning.
      • Communication planning
        • Work closely with Global Design to brief and guide the development of highly persuasive, breakthrough creative content
        • Effectively partner with Global media team on national media choices for Amazon & other e-comm media partners
        • Integrate shoppable elements to our media content in all digital communication.
      • Comfortable leading through influencing in a matrixed organization, where objectives lie between conversion on the retailer side and brand activation on the marketing side.
      • Strong collaboration skills
        • Bridge between the central marketing function and retailer team.
          • Point person for all customer team segment e-comm as well as commercial strategy team
          • Point person for all ecommerce elements of North American marketing, leveraging the capabilities within the team to deliver best in class content.
