Early Childhood Teacher The Goddard School in Knoxville Tennessee is looking for a dynamic teacher to join our team. Teachers work in a co-teaching environment. Our teaching positions are full time, year round. Co-Teacher Qualification Requirements:

• CDA, Associates or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Prior classroom experience (Early Childhood)
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Availability Monday through Friday during school hours (7:00 am – 6:00 pm)

Our Co-Teachers work together:

• Developing lesson plans based on Goddard Developmental Guidelines and monthly themes
• Meeting the individual needs of the children
• Parent communication
• Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning
• Creating a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
• Using assessment tools
• Ensuring compliance with Goddard’s Quality Assurance Standards and Tennessee 3 Star Standards
