Especially for Children seeks dedicated early childhood professionals to join our teaching team. EFC has eight Twin Cities locations which are NAEYC Accredited and Four Star Parent Aware rated. EFC is locally owned and was founded in 1976. Teachers at Especially for Children make lasting connections with children, families and each other. Our educational philosophy is centered on The Creative Curriculum, a play-based learning curriculum that allows teachers and children to explore and pursue their unique interests.

We are looking for one or more substitute teachers willing to travel between our locations in the south metro area. Locations include Edina, Bloomington, Eagan and Inver Grove Heights. Candidates would have the option of letting us know which locations they are willing to travel to.

We seek a qualified Teacher or Assistant Teacher who:

• Relates positively with young children and families
• Has previous Early Childhood Education experience in a school, childcare center or licensed daycare (preferred)
• Has college credits or a certification in Early Childhood Education (CDA) or a related field (preferred)
• Is passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
• Works cooperatively with other team members
