Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Mayflower’s R&D focus includes GPS/INS systems, adaptive space-time antenna systems, data link receivers, attitude determination and control systems, and wireless communication systems. All positions at Mayflower require US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance.
The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will participate in the design and development of advanced technologies and products related to our GPS anti-jam, and wireless communication systems for military applications. Will also write and maintain project related design documentation, participate in design reviews, and handle other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded real-time software development
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance
- Excellent C/C++ Programming skills in Windows and/or Linux environment
- Experience in real-time embedded software design and development including knowledge of real-time operating systems, state-of-the-art microcontrollers and hardware/software integration, and laboratory debugging skills is essential
- Xilinx SDK, experience developing software for Xilinx UltraScale / UltraScale+ Zynq devices
- Ability to implement and optimize Digital Signal Processing / Algorithms working closely with Systems Engineers in the above specified technologies is desired
