Our presence in the Tri-State area is growing and we are looking for exceptional candidates to grow with us. Prestige Environmental, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified mid-level Environmental Scientist who will work as part of a team of Licensed Site Remediation Professionals ("LSRPs"), scientists and engineers in our Somerset, New Jersey office.

Our ideal candidate will be a mid level member that provides groundwater and soil sampling, environmental due diligence, remedial investigation and design, regulatory approval/compliance and environmental remediation services for a broad range of clients in New Jersey and surrounding States (New York and Pennsylvania).

Established in 1993, Prestige Environmental, Inc. specializes in environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and remediation services. The firm provides services to federal, state, and municipal governments and private-sector clients from its Somerset, New Jersey office.

Prestige Environmental, Inc. is a strong advocate of the team approach to undertaking projects and problem solving. Accordingly, in this role you will interface with and work in multi-disciplinary teams in which the contribution of each member is equally valued.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

• Field work, including Soil and Groundwater Sampling
• Interpret data and conduct analyses comparing to local, state and federal regulations
• Interpreting and manipulating field and laboratory data
• Calibrating, operating and maintaining field equipment
• Coordinating subcontractors
• Working in a fast-paced environment, often on multiple tasks and projects
• Participating in the continued growth and development of the company

The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Bachelors Degree in environmental sciences/geology
• 4 years’ experience in the environmental consulting field
• Knowledge and experience with independently conducting soil and groundwater sampling, underground storage tank removal, construction management
• Written and verbal communications skills
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of CADD and GIS preferred
• Current 40 Hr. HAZWOPER and current 8-hour refresher
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as dictated by project demands

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $107,910.00 per year
