Retro Biosciences is a fast-growing biopharma startup using high-throughput, high-dimensional approaches to develop therapies for diseases driven by the biology of aging. Our mission is to extend healthy human lifespan by one decade. We are looking to expand our exceptional team at our Redwood City location.

We are looking for a highly organized and self-motivated Facilities Technican who enjoys a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. You’ll be part and parcel with the Retro ops team and while your primary responsibility will be to keep our facility maintained and compliant, you will also work on various initiatives and special projects. You’ll be juggling multiple balls at once sometimes, but affirmatively within the constraints of a healthy, happy working environment.

What you’ll do in this role:

• Own building maintenance of 20,000 sq ft facility
• Seek out areas requiring upkeep; take initiative to complete the task
• Assist with lab supply inventory, stocking, and receiving
• Perform weekly and monthly facilities safety inspections (we’ll provide checklist and training)
• Help with furniture assembly, equipment set-up and other practical tasks
• Support overall facility functions such as cleaning and organization of the space

We work on (1) partial reprogramming, (2) blood factors, and (3) autophagy to rejuvenate cell and tissue function with the ultimate aim of adding years to healthy human lifespan. We are looking to expand our exceptional team at our Redwood City location. The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000. Total compensation also includes generous equity and benefits.
