FedEx Delivery Driver Job at FedEx Ground/Home Delivery
We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to ensure customer satisfaction, safety, and profitability. We are a contract service provider of FedEx Ground and operate 6 days a week. Currently looking to fill 1 position of a delivery driver. Our company overs a benefits package that includes paid time off, health insurance, a matching Simple IRA, accidental plan, and life insurance. Our drivers work 40 hours a week typically on either a 4 day or 5 day schedule. Must have weekend availability. This position may also have the ability to be traveling out of our service area.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Collect payments
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Skills
- Valid professional driver’s license
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- High school degree
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to pass a drug screening and DOT physical
- Must be able to pass a background screening
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
