Financial Analyst - Entry Level Job at Robert Half
We have an entry-level role in Santa Fe Springs, California that needs to be filled immediately with a success-driven and determined Pricing Analyst. Are you a goal-oriented critical thinker with a dedication for analysis? If yes, this is the Pricing Analyst position for you!
The Pricing Analyst II will be responsible for various tasks involving data exports and imports, analysis, and reporting using a variety of sources including SQL, pricing databases, and customer ordering platforms. This will require coordinating with Pricing, RFP / Cross Reference, Customer Service, Procurement / Strategic Planning, Accounts Receivable, and Sales team members. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
× Run customer usage reports, with varying degrees of complexity and line item detail.
× Prompt acknowledgment of requests as they are received, including an estimated turnaround time with the response.
× Maintaining both ad-hoc and scheduled request queues and processing requests in a timely manner, while maintaining a high level of process quality and consistency.
× Update customer pricing in the company’s ERP system based on requests and coordination with the company’s internal departments or sometimes external sources, including conversion pricing from one item to another
× Coordinate updates with EDI Administrator /3rd Party EDI platforms (OnCare, DSSI, Procurement Partners, etc.) as necessary.
× A 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics
× Strong data entry skills with low error rates
× Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups
× Strong calculation and analytical skills
× Previous experience with ERP software
× Excellent verbal and written communications skills
