As a senior manager, Anaplan Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for the success of the finance technology products and services delivered by your team. This includes support of financial systems for Anaplan and Hyperion Planning applications, amongst other supplemental financial reporting systems. The role will manage a team of professionals, who will lead planning, design requirements, training and testing activities and will support governance and optimization of ongoing interactions within, between and outside these core systems. Working closely with technology, you will lead implementation of new and existing technology globally.

Summary of Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Works collaboratively with and often leads cross-functional teams to coordinate and provide guidance on design and development, implementation of key finance systems including Anaplan.
  • Build new capabilities leveraging the Anaplan system to support strategic initiatives, evolving business processes, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop Expert model building skills in Anaplan and be the point person for functionality and data definition.
  • Grow superuser base and expand knowledge of Anaplan to the business.
  • Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together.
  • Manage a team of 3-5 professionals.
  • Ensures effective communication and timely resolution of conflicts.
  • Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team of direct reports promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to improve processes, set targets, develop plans, conduct complex analyses, and measure results. Consults with senior management to identify process gaps, present data and propose solutions.
  • Ensures systems are consistent and integrated with the business practices they support. Identifies key issues and weaknesses, provides solutions for improvement, and manages the implementation of system enhancements.

Summary of Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in systems support, management, development and implementation
  • Preferred experience for Anaplan, Hyperion Planning and Essbase, Oracle and Smart View.
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) process transformation experience with preference in knowledge of close, consolidation, planning/forecasting and reporting
  • Demonstrated passion for data cleanliness, automated integrations and process improvements.
  • Prior exposure in collaborating with Technology, finance and accounting teams to drive tool adoption and system acumen.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deliverables and resourcing constraints to achieve deadlines
