First Officer / Second in Command Job at Marvin
We're looking for a First Officer / Second in Command to join Marvin's corporate flight department! Reporting to the Chief Pilot, this position ensures compliance with applicable FAA regulations, company policies and procedures. Safety, customer service and operational excellence are the driving force behind all Marvin Aviation endeavors as we transport both business travelers and Marvin customers.

Highlights of your role
- Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation.
- Ensure pre and post flight duties are performed.
- Collaborate with other crew members in review of Flight Risk Assessments for each flight.
- Ensure the aircraft is clean and re-stocked at the end of each trip.
- Participate in the Safety Management System (SMS).
- Provide excellent customer service while assisting passenger needs.
- Maintain a culture of safety with effective procedures that support the department.
- Perform duties of Pilot Flying and Pilot Monitoring as needed.
- Rotational “on-call” schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Complete all required company, departmental, regulatory and aircraft specific training at the specified intervals.
- Non-flying duties as prescribed by the Chief Pilot.
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000
You're a good fit if you have
- Minimum 1000 hours of total flight time (preferred)
- Minimum 100 hours of total multi-engine time (preferred)
- High School diploma
- Must hold a current commercial pilot certificate with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
- Ability to obtain an ATP and type rating when offered the training opportunity.
- FAA Class 1 medical certificate
- US Passport with ability to clear US Customs unencumbered
- Valid State issued driver's license
