• Provide advice and be proficient when recommending exercising and use of fitness equipment. Assess an individual's current exercise program and level of fitness to develop personalized exercise programs and provide fitness counseling.
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional.
• Clean and maintain recreational areas, equipment, and supplies. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Call Maintenance or an outside service company if machines require service.
• Follow company policies and procedures. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately/in accordance with the local operating procedure in the event of an emergency.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

• High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must speak, read, and understand English.
• Must hold and maintain a current fitness certification(s). Yoga Certification (required); additional certifications (preferred).
• Experience with large groups and public speaking (preferred).
• Group Fitness: 1 year or more (required).
• AED Certification and CPR Certification(preferred).
• Customer Service: 1 year or more (preferred).
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
