ZLA Solutions is looking to hire Forklift Drivers for an automotive client in Steele, AL.

**These jobs are considered "fast track to permanent hire" positions!!**

Pay and Hours

1st Shift
6:30 am - 3:00 pm
$15.00 / hour

2nd Shift
3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
$15.50 / hour

3rd Shift
10:30 pm - 7:00 am
$15.30 / hour

**NOTE: Hours may be longer at first until all positions are fully-staffed!!**

Essential Job Responsibilities

> Maintain steady production flow of parts, baskets, and/or racks to specified lines
> Abide by all safety rules/guidelines and company rules for forklift use
> Complete daily forklift safety check list
> Complete daily condition, function, and cleanliness check of forklift
> Report any problems to Team Leader/Coordinator
> Maintain valid forklift operator license
> Work flexible hours, overtime, and/or weekends as needed
> Maintain strong, consistent attendance
> Work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

> Education: High School Diploma or GED (preferred, not required)
> Experience: Successfully complete required written and driving tests

Skills

> Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and memos
> Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages
> Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
> Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations

Work Environment

> Associates are required to work in a typical manufacturing environment where the temperature is controlled throughout the year, but may occasionally be warm or cool to individual preferences.
> Associates are required to wear personal protective equipment, which includes long-sleeves, steel-toed boots, bump cap, safety glasses, and earplugs).
