A growing, multi-site preschool program in the heart of Middle Tennessee is looking to fill the part time role of Learning Center Manager. The Learning Center is our weekday preschool program. Candidates must be wildly organized, creative, and have a heart for kids of all ages. We are searching for an incredible candidate who will walk alongside our Director to ensure our Franklin Campus Learning Center operates at its highest capabilities every single day.
OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this position is to make sure the Learning Center is set up and staffed to operate each day and cleaned up and ready for school the next day and/or evening programming and Sunday programming. The Manager position includes, but is not limited to, the responsibilities listed below.

EXPECTATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow the rules and regulations required in our licensing with the state of Tennessee.
- Assume responsibility for the daily operation of the RHLC program.
- Manage program attendance for staff and students.
- Facilitate preparation for and implementation of special events, including Open House, Christmas Program, and End-of-Year Celebration.
- Perform a variety of miscellaneous duties as required of the position, running errands, ordering supplies, conducting activities, and helping with set-up and clean-up for events.
- Facilitate semi-annual programs.
- Monitor the safety of students, staff, and facilities.
- Regularly inspect equipment and play areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Coordinate safety program including monthly drills.
- Promote the positive image of the preschool.
- Make sure every teaching and floating position is filled for the day. If a special class is changed or adjusted or some floater positions are not filled let teachers who will be affected by this know what the day will look like for them.
- Every morning walk through the Learning Center space to make sure it is ready for the school day.
- Manage iPad cart – make sure it’s unlocked in the morning and full and locked at the end of the day.
- Work in the carline from 9:00 until 9:25 or greet families at the West entrance from 9:25 until 9:45.
- Close the doors to the preschool space and Main Street by 9:50 and visit each classroom. Make sure that all the children who are present are checked in on Brightwheel and see if the teachers need anything to start their day. Check in on all the classrooms multiple times during the day.
- If a child needs a break from a classroom for behavior issues, spend time with them and then return them to the classroom.
- If a child is sick the manager will sit with them in the office until their parent arrives to take them home.
- Respond to Brightwheel messages from parents during the day.
- Laundry will need to be done weekly to wash socks for the indoor playground and bedding from some classrooms.
- Before leaving each day all buggies, strollers and the Main St. cart need to be put away. The Treehouse should be cleared of toys.
- Help teachers with children at nap time.
- There are times that toilet paper, soap, and/or paper towels need to be restocked during the day. There are also times that toilets need to be plunged or accidents/illness issues need to be cleaned up.
- Before leaving on Thursdays the classrooms need to be checked to make sure they are ready/transitioned for Sunday mornings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a professing Christian with a true calling and passion for ministry and a partner of Rolling Hills Community Church.
- Bachelor’s degree, while not necessary, is preferred.
- Minimum of three years working with children in preschool or other venues. Management experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and relationship skills.
- Software proficiency.

Part-Time | Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 4 PM
