Courageous Cubs is looking for creative, patient, kind, caring and reliable individuals to be Lead Teachers. Full time Monday - Friday. Enjoy your weekends and major Holidays off. Lead Teachers must be 18 years or older. Experience is a plus but not a must, we will train. With Courageous Cubs it is important to create a positive culture within our employee, families, and the community.

All employees are expected to have their infant, child and adult CPR/First Aide and be able to pass a background check to obtain their Child Care Workers License in Ammon, Idaho. We can assist you with CPR resources and instructions on how to obtain your background and Childcare Worker License. If hired you are responsible for paying the required amounts for your CPR/First Aide ($35-$45) and your background ($65). All employees will have to complete an annual training of 20hrs throughout the year to remain eligible for the position. Employees will need to complete 12 hours of ICCP training within 90 days of hire.

Job Duties: Meeting the needs to the children which may include:

· Planning Curriculum

· Feeding

· Diaper Changing

· Potty training

· Head Count Accuracy

· Cleaning

· Sanitizing

You will also need good instinct for caring for children emotional needs

Must be Able to:

General Job Description: Plan and implement a full-day, year-round, developmentally appropriate curriculum including weekly themes and lesson plans, inclusion of theme-related materials, and rotation of toys and equipment on a regular basis. Provide safe, responsive, stimulating environment by actively engaging oneself in daily activities and routines. Form and maintain professional relationship with parents and families. Assess all areas of development of children using the Creative Curriculum. Develop and maintain portfolio for each child. Conduct two parent-teacher conferences per year with each family. Responsible for supervision and direction of Full-Time Aides, Part-Time Aides, and Volunteers. Maintain all certifications as required. Ensure compliance with all city and state rules and regulations.
