We are seeking a Functional Tester to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. The Functional Tester will be responsible for creating and executing functional test cases to ensure the quality of our software products. They will work closely with the development team to ensure that our software products meet the business requirements and customer expectations.

• Create and execute functional test cases based on the business requirements and customer expectations.
• Identify and report defects to the development team and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that defects are resolved, and new features meet the business requirements.
• Participate in the development of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in QA.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand software specifications and requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Appium.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

Required Experience:

2+ years of experience in software testing

Education Required:

Bachelors in Engineering
