Job Title: Fund Accountant/Property Accountant
Location: Chicago, IL
Compensation: $80-85k (based on experience) with 10% bonus
Job Type: Full Time

What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in the Fund/Property accountant space
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification is a plus (also a plus is you are in the process of obtaining a CPA)
- Passion for Accounting and ability to drive change
- Someone who has experience within accounting technologies and ERP systems
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform daily accounting for Taxable REIT Subsidiaries, REIT’s, and holding companies in the joint venture structures space
- Record capital contributions
- Record elimination entries
- Prepare Month end reconciliations
- Prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements
- Respond to inquiries from auditors
- Develop process improvements
