General Clerk Job at APTIM
Job Overview:
Performs secretarial, clerical, and related duties. Works independently to collect, document, organize, analyze, and provide data, methods, processes, procedures, information, and findings to the Work Control Supervisor for implementation.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Maintains all data entry, keeps all records organized and current.
- Prepares correspondence, emails, reports, records and other related documents from rough drafts, corrected copy, or recorded media; proofreads completed materials and makes corrections.
- Ability to learn and work in Maximo and SharePoint.
- Provide customer assistance in a proficient and professional manner.
- Collects, maintains, and organizes data in the preparation of project reports including contract deliverable government reports.
- Gathers and compiles information as requested; prepares related reports or documents for SharePoint.
- Responsible for all functions of the project purchase request process.
- Maintains log on all purchase requests and distributes PR's to assigned contacts.
- Receive, review, and input digital purchase requisitions. Ensure that each has the proper accounting codes, signatures, and justification.
- Obtain appropriate Government and Company signatures on purchase requests.
- Participation in all APTIM/HDSS EHS and Quality procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have two (2) years of experience in general office skills.
- Type 30 wpm (determined by timed test).
- Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of computer operations. Able to operate PC with functional knowledge of Maximo, Windows, Microsoft Office Suite of programs (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook) and Internet.
License & Certifications:
- Must possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License
