SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are seeking versatile and experienced Laborers, Equipment Operators, Pipelayers, and Foremen for our growing site team. The crew members will primarily work on project sites in the Eastern PA market and will be provided with opportunities for advancement.

A successful candidate should possess a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and ability to work in a crew-based environment. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

GENERAL LABORER

• Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards
• Perform manual labor tasks using various hand and power tools
• Assist grading crews with cleanup while checking and prepping subgrades
• Be able to understand and follow instructions from crew leaders
• Perform other related duties as assigned

EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

• Operates equipment in compliance with Kinsley’s safety policies and procedures
• Ensures company equipment is maintained and in good running condition by greasing and checking fluids
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of all aspects of construction
• Perform other related duties as assigned

PIPELAYER

• Installation of new pipes in trench for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains
• Align pipes in pipeline sections
• Ensure subgrade and pipe are on grade and on line
• Assist in backfilling and running compaction equipment
• Job site hazard recognition
• Perform other related duties as assigned

FOREMAN

• Effectively lead, manage and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals
• Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
• Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
• Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials and equipment needed to complete the job
• Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs
• Perform other related duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of field leadership experience is required for foreman position
• Experience and knowledge of landfill gas is preferred
• Previous equipment operation experience is preferred but not required
• Maintain all tools required for Equipment Operators
• Previous experience working around heavy equipment
• Ability to read and follow construction site drawings, blueprints, diagrams and specifications is preferred
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods and sometimes in unfavorable weather conditions
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling of materials
• Ability to complete the physical aspects of the job (lifting, bending, carrying etc.)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
