Job Title: General Manager

**Job Starting July 2023

Primary Function

Under direction of the company President, the General Manager (GM) is responsible for all aspects of service delivery, including management of technical team and office staff to ensure exceptional customer service to all clients and safe operations. The GM has direct responsibility for the financial success of the business through managing behaviors that drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Responsible for the management of profits and losses, sales, personnel, supply and logistics.

Specific Duties

• Build and foster a purpose driven team through recruitment and onboarding, and as ongoing training and development.
• Treat all customers and fellow employees with respect at all times.
• Ensure timely delivery of high quality products and services to customers.
• Manage the all aspects of service delivery of technical team and office staff.
• Drive continuous improvement of customer experience and in house processes.
• Develop and maintain a spirit of cooperation, respect and teamwork with all employees.
• Approve invoices and payments for vendors providing goods and services to the business.
• Maintain open line of communications with management and fellow employees at all times.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including office space, shop area, and vehicles.
• Create and maintain office schedule to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned which may include the duties outside this job description and may also include cross-training in related positions within the company.

Qualifications

Education / Experience

• Associates Degree or High school graduate with minimum 5 years management experience in commercial / residential flat glass preferred.
• Computer savvy and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint); able to quickly learn and develop proficiency with third party and custom applications.

People Management Skills

• Professional, friendly and confident personality with strong interpersonal communications skills.
• Ability to give directions in assisting employees in a non-threatening and non-confrontational manner.
• Ability to provide training and/or technical guidance to less experienced employees.
• Proven track record as a team member and effective communicator.

Customer Service Skills

• Professional appearance.
• Driven to provide the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction and expects the same from others.
• Possess a high degree of personal initiative, be action-oriented and results-oriented.

Technical / Problem-Solving Skills

• Accustomed to working in fast moving environments requiring timely attention to details as well as unpredictable and changing conditions.
• Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure scheduled deadlines are met.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
