We are seeking candidates for a Group Facilitator/Employment Coordinator position.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitate Commitment, SA Didactic, Community Awareness, CBT and Process Groups
- Data entry
- Maintain group calendar
- Develop working knowledge of MDOC Policy and Procedures
- Federal Client Requirements/Correspondence on behalf of client restrictions
- Monthly reports
- Knowledge of substance abuse policy and procedure
- Medicaid assessments
- Conduct Employability Skills Class
- Monitor Job Club employment seeking activities
- Collaborate with Case Managers to promote resident employment success
- Assist referred residents with special needs
- Develop community resource referral list
- Additional duties assigned by Supervisor
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
- MCBAP credential (preferred)
- MCBAP Professional Development Plan within 30 days of hire
- Two years of experience with felony offenders (preferred)
This position will be Monday through Friday with two evenings per week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $43,533.00 per year
