Job Description:

The facility is seeking a Health Information Management Analyst to perform health information quality analysis, collection, and management duties necessary for organizing, maintaining, and utilizing patient medical records. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service and respond to requests as assigned.

Key responsibilities include:

• Performing EPIC quality analysis by reviewing scanned records in EPIC media manager, ensuring accurate and complete entries.
• Using EPIC tools such as "Deficiency Tracker," "Error Logs," and "Chart Correction" to maintain complete and accurate medical records.
• Assisting physicians in completing their assigned incomplete medical records.
• Coordinating notification and suspension processes and reporting potential areas for improvement and efficiency to management.
• Generating reports to monitor record completion statistics.
• Providing data related to record completion.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of medical records standards and practices
• Strong organizational aptitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Education and Certifications:

• Graduation from HIT program or Associate's Degree
• RHIT or RHIA Registration
