Position Summary

Judd Buick Construction, Inc. (JBCI) based in Redding, CA, was started in April 2008 as an owner/operator heavy civil construction company. JBCI started out preforming small project for the U.S. Forest Service such as road decommissioning, and culvert installations. Today JBCI works for BLM, U. S. Forest Service, and Municipalities throughout California doing many different types of heavy civil construction projects, from installing pre-cast concrete bridges to complete roadway reconstruction. Role and Responsibilities

Job Requirements:

• Able to operate different pieces of equipment (i.e.: excavator, dozer, loader) and some laboring
• High efficiency and smooth operation of equipment
• Interpret plans and grade stakes
• Can cut and maintain grade
• Experience installing culvert preferred
• Willing to travel throughout California
• Positive attitude
• Participate in routine maintenance
• Work well with all individuals including, coworkers, inspectors and supervisors

• Punctual, reliable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule
• Take initiative and perform tasks that are needed
• Ability to be self-directed, with minimal supervision
• Commitment to continuous improvement
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience operating heavy equipment for highway/road construction and/or logging experience
• Journeyman level heavy equipment operator
• Class A Driver license preferred
