• Master’s degree in the teaching field, or
• Master’s in any teaching field with 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching field.
• EDU 250 - Overview of the Community Colleges– or equivalent must be completed within two years of the date of hire.

• Prepares for classes assigned, and shows written evidence of preparation, state standard based, upon request of immediate supervisor.
• Develops lesson plans based on state standard-based instructional objectives.
• Utilizes appropriate placement procedures grouping and implementation of differentiated instruction.
• Addresses various levels of thinking.
• Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, consistent with the physical limitations of the location provided and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved.
• Makes provision for being available to students, parents, and the administration for education-related purposes outside the instructional day when required or requested to do so.
• Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and in harmony with the goals establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects, and the like to communicate these objectives to students.
