FLAG Solutions is hiring a skilled and dedicated 2nd shift Filler Machine Operator for a leading dairy and ice cream manufacturing company, committed to producing high-quality products that delight our customers located in the city of Commerce. Pay rate: $20/hr

Shift: 3rd -10:00pm-6:30am + ot

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain filler machines and associated equipment in the production area
• Monitor and adjust filler machine settings to ensure proper product filling, sealing, and quality
• Perform routine quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Load and unload raw materials and finished products, while ensuring proper handling and storage
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues, escalating more complex problems to the appropriate team members
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and meet shift quotas
• Accurately document production data, machine adjustments, and quality checks in accordance with company procedures
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to expand your skillset and stay current on industry best practices

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of experience operating filling machines, preferably in the dairy or ice cream manufacturing industry
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot common machine issues
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify product defects and maintain quality control
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and multitask effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with GMPs, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
• Availability to work 2nd shift hours, including weekends and holidays as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overtime
